For text response this term we have started to watch a movie called Fly Away Home.

When Amy first moved to live with her father she didn’t get along with him and tried to ignore him as much as possible. Over the time she has grown to like him.  So now she is okay with him and has a pretty good relationship with him because she realizes that he’s doing what he can for her. I’m enjoying to flim so far because it has a meaningful storyline with some parts funny and others more serious. I’m looking forward to watching the rest of the film.

Hi Stef, I like the film as well. It is nice to see the relationship between Amy and her father isn’t it. Looking forward to reading more of your thoghts.

Like Ms McLeay, and other students, I suspect, I would like to hear more of your thoughts, feelings and opinions on the movie Fly Away Home.

Though the pictures of Andy are great! He’s had a rough trot this tennis season, hasn’t he?

I like the realisation which you pinpointed. It is an important one for adolescents: that your parents are doing what they can for you.

I agree with you that the storyline is meaningful. It may meander sometimes but trust me it has definitely a point!
